My vision for Candy Academy began as I saw a growing need for event planning support, relevant resources and encouragement for community and business leaders – small business owners, marketing or communications staff, leaders of community organizations, volunteer teams, office administrators for schools, colleges or churches – who were tasked to plan and promote events for their businesses or organizations, or groups.
They knew face to face events would help them gain more customers, connect effectively with donors, reach out to their community, motivate their staff, or inspire their volunteer teams . . . but they didn’t know exactly how to do it in the most effective, efficient, and affordable way.
If that sounds like you, be assured I understand your challenges – in fact I’ve faced many of them myself – and I am ready to come alongside you in the nitty-gritty of your event planning and promotion efforts to help you meet your goals. Planning events and promoting events might be a necessary part of your job – but we believe it can also be fun, energizing, and effective!
Together with local experts and passionate partners we offer the workshops, coaching, and resources you need to help you learn to plan and promote your events creatively and effectively.
